My reticence does not mean I surrender

I don’t sleep.
I never
sleep.

I meditate
only.

I am
alone
always

just by myself.

I am
a
sensory being,
just like you
and him
and
her
and them and
it.

Silence

I feel my surrounding quietly,

the touch,
the taste of your fingers,
the temperature,
the slightly salted sweat.

Silence

That unseen vibration
oscillating in air,
that colorful tension
growing under the sun.

Surviving
in
unpredictable conditions.

You forget who you are.
You forget your standing points.
You forget your struggles.
You adapt, adjust.

Changed

and confused.

You asked why you have no reactions?

My reticence
does not mean I surrender.

I carry on meditating
alone.

My body
has no
definition.

It exists
as a being.
a living thing,
a life,
a creature.

Inhale,
exhale,

breathe.

I survived today.
How about you?
